Eight days ago, an AirAsia, Indonesian airplane that flew from Surabaya to Singapore with 162 people on board missed. The airplane, Airbus A320-220 disappeared after flying for two hours from Juanda airport.
The officer of air traffic control said that pilot of AirAsia asked permission to climb to 38.000ft (11.000m) but the request couldn’t be approved at that time. There were some flights above and five minutes after it, AirAsia disappeared from radar.
After that, Government of Indonesia announced to public that AirAsia QZ8501 gone. Then, National Rescue and Search Agency (Basarnas) decided to find the airplane with some team. At least 30 ships, 15 aircrafts, any ships in the area and even fishermen took part in the search of AirAsia. The government of Indonesia also asked some countries to help in searching for the airplane.
After two days, one of aircrafts discovered some debris that floated in the strait. they found the debris and the body of AirAsia QZ8501 in the Karimata strait, the waters that separate Belitung island and Kalimantan. Shortly after, an Air Force Hercules C-130 found an object in their system. They estimated that the object resembled the AirAsia airplane. Rescue workers on the aircraft also found three bodies that though to be victims of the crash.
When this information was broadcasted by the media, a woman who was waiting in Juanda airport information centre, suddenly lost her consciousness. Another families of the victims sobbed. They shocked even the team just found three victims. Indonesia was grieving.
Nowadays, Basarnas focused on searching of the body of AirAsia airplane. They sent a sophisticated equipment to track the airplane in the bottom of the sea. After they found it, they planned to lift the plane. At the same time, they didn’t forget to search the victims and identifying the victims who were found until they gave the victims back to their families.

From this incident, the government and the mass media have many homeworks. The government must investigate the cause of this accident. The government should inspect the advisability of AirAsia airplane too so this accident won’t happen again in the future. After get the result, they should inform it to the public.
Then, the mass media mustn’t show the real pictures of the victims without edit it before. They should give just an information update to the public. Maybe, they could make an illustration to describe it. It is important to prevent the traumatic syndrome for the families of the victims.
Finally, I want to express my condolences to the families of the victims. I really sad and felt shock when I heard this situation because AirAsia is one of my favorite plane. I hope the families could be patient about it. May Allah bless us.
